Domains & Alerts

Save domains for quick access and set up automated monitoring so you're notified the moment a DNS record changes — before it causes an outage.

Saving a domain

    Go to Domains

    Click Domains in the left sidebar. This page lists all your saved domains.

    Click Add domain

    Enter the domain name you want to track (e.g. example.com). You can save up to 10 domains on the Pro plan.

    Run a quick check

    Once saved, the domain appears in the list with its last-checked status. Click the domain name to open a detailed check, or use the bookmark icon in the Propagation Checker to pick from your saved list.

Setting up alerts

    Go to Alerts

    Click Alerts in the left sidebar to see all your configured alert rules.

    Click New alert

    Select a saved domain, a record type (e.g. A, MX), and how you want to be notified — in-app, email, or both.

    Monitoring runs automatically

    PropagationBase checks your domain every 15 minutes. If the record value changes, you receive a notification immediately.

Propagation timeline

Each saved domain has a Timeline chart showing propagation percentage over the last 7 days. Use this to confirm a DNS change rolled out completely, or to spot an unexpected regression.
